If you are looking for the "college experience" do not come here. If you are looking to make do, just get by, get a degree, then get out then U of H will satisfy you probably. They do hand out plenty of degrees here it's just that maybe you'd rather enjoy your 4 years in the process. Campus life- a joke. Everyone commutes and the rest keep to themself. It's looked down upon to live on campus. I joined a sorority to survive but even that has not helped me totally because the day to day living on campus is lonely and you will eat alone a lot, most do. Dorm parties don't happen. If you are greek then they will want to go to bars. I personally just want to be a college kid, I'll go to bars when I'm a strung out divorcee. That's just me. I just want to be a kid. I want commraderie, a filled lunch table, community. If you're just fine with existing then this place is fine but if you want to Live then find somewhere else. I'm in the process currently.
