If you're looking for a school that will break boundaries, teach you useful information, teach what the class is about, help you improve yourself, and be fun then stay away from UMHB.  Attending UMHB is the worst decision I've ever made in my entire life (and I've done some dumb things).  The classes are EXTEREMLY boring and biased.  The type of education you get at UMHB isn't worth the money.  I learned more at a public high school then I did while I was attending UMHB.  Don't think of UMHB as a Universty think of it as a Corporation trying to make as much money off while giving you the worst education you could ever get.  They fine you for anything and everything!

The Professors are good people but are bad at teaching.  I had professors who didn't know what they were talking about, would give you wrong information, and fail you on the test for putting what they taught you since they don't even make up their own test!  They get them from some other source and the only reason they know the right answers is because they have the key.

The people here are are clones of eachother, they have nothing exciting about them.  Everyone is just a hardcore religious drone.  It's hard to be friends with anybody if you don't think like they do.

The only people who I would recommend to go to this school are the religious freaks who have enough money to throw away while getting nothing in return.

There are barely any school activities, and the ones that they do plan are for children.  This is just a really lame school... Don't go to UMHB!

Oh and another big problem with UMHB is about 80% of the school population goes home during the weekends!  There is barely anybody on campus during the weekends and holidays, there are no events during the weekends, they don't even serve breakfast on the weekends!

If you attend UMHB you will feel like you're just at an expensive daycare.

commentFirst off, don't say everyone that goes here is a religious freak..because thats not true. And not everyone that attends UMHB is a clone of each other..I have met some great people here. This IS a Christian school..so what usually comes to follow with that? Attending Chapel or anything the school has for religious attendance. If you don't like it then go somewhere else. No one is putting a gun to your head to make you go here. You should learn about a school before you attend as in (surround area, if there's a lot to do, what the school requires, size of the school..etc.)so don't bash UMHB because it doesn't live up to your perception of how college should be. Every college is different, and UMHB happens to be a small university. If your looking for a school big on campus activites/sports then you should go to UT Austin or Tx State. Also you mentioned UMHB has "bad professors". Have you been to college anywhere but UMHB? I've been to three and there are going to be "bad" professors at EVERY college you attend..thats just how it's not something you can prevent.

commentFirst off everyone that attends UMHB is stuck up and thinks that their religion somehow makes them better than the rest of the population. I have seen them judge people, say ignorant things about people who don't look or act the same way that they do, the people here even project their political views on you and if you don't agree you are immediately ostracized. So please tell me how is any of this Christian? Acceptance, not passing judgment, and honestly caring about another person that madam is Christianity. UMHB is nothing more than a campus that judges people who are different and who don't fit into to their typical mold. And the people here are EXACT clones of each other they have NO PERSONALITY whatsoever and this is the only college campus where people wear gym clothes everyday wtf? So as for the students being clones, they are exact clones. Have a nice day.
