The University of Texas at El Paso has decent academics, but I believe the quality of life at the school is poor. The school spends too much of their time and money on "improving" the campus but there is little or no positive effects on the students. The departments don't communicate well with each other or with students, many times they will make a mistake on a student's records and won't inform the student.
