CNU is maybe on of the worst universities in Virginia. They claim to be about "challenging" the students in small classroom which is complete crap. Most of my class are made up of 70+ people at which point it doesn't even matter how many people are in the classroom. The academic programs here are a sham when I can leave more than half the questions on my physics final exam blank and still get a B in the course. Further, I feel that the programs the school offers are not up to date with 21st century and the tools and skills I?m being taught in my department are severely out of date. Finally, perhaps even a greater problem with the academics at this university is the fluid nature of all of the programs this university offers. Frequently, major requirements change, classes that are offered change, and over all university programs are subject to change? It seems that programs here change so frequently that it seems that no other school in the entire state could possibly have as many program changes. This is most likely due to the school young and fledgling status and complete lack of individual identity.

Socially, it seems almost impossible to believe how incredibly apathetic the student body of CNU is to anything. The school is incredibly cliquish and high schoolish. Most students are completely isolated from what is going on in the world and students like myself who are interested in the big picture as a member of society have no one with which they can converse.

DO NOT GO HERE. LITERALLY, 50% of students end up transferring out.
