Major: Religion/Religious (This Major's Salary over time)
Despite a high level of intelligence, most people here do not think much about social issues. That is, no one discusses politics, religion, or the state of the world over dinner. Boo-hoo. Being of a rather conservative and hard-partying bent, I do not always feel at home on a liberal, "let's study over the weekend!" campus. That being said, enough "personality diversity" exists here so that no one should feel stunted. Despite the general atmosphere, I've always found people to drink with on those long, lonely Tuesday nights. Oh, and the academics are excellent, by the way—although this school isn't the grade killer most sources make it out to be.
