The College is an excellent, well-balanced instutition. While I should mention that I am myself no party animal, I do feel there are plenty of social opportunities on and around campus, and the academic rigor of the school cannot be challenged. The gender balance (65% female) makes life interesting, though the College is by no means dominated by girls. Moreover, most of those in attendance tend to keep their significant others at home, which can be frustrating for certain sectors of the male contingent on campus. All in all, the College of William and Mary is a superlative institution…it has allowed me to grow and has prepared me well for whatever the future may hold.
