Mason
is awesome because of the oppertunities that it gives to
its students. As a Global Affairs major, Mason offers many
study abroad and foreign language programs that make my major
highly competitive. Living on campus great too because many of
the dorms are brand new, and there are so many
things to do on and around campus. The Que Bus
serves the City of Fairfax, and has a stop right
on Campus. Students can ride the Que bus for free
when they show their student i.d.'s. Also there is a
Mason shuttle bus that runs directly to the metro station
every 15 minutes. One can ride the metro into down
town D.C. to hit the clubs, catch operas, ballets, eat
at nice restaurants, go to internships, catch Wizards/Caps/Nats/ even Redskins
games if one so chooses. Or if someone doesn't want
to leave campus the Basketball team here is baller, and
is always a CAA championship contender. Not to mention the
many shows that come directly to the campus Center for
the Arts, and the Patriot Center. Last year I was
able to catch UFC Fight Night Live there. So yeah..
it's a pretty decent school which is getting better every
year.
