Hampton University definitely provides and education for life.  At Hampton, the environment is very friendly, with Hampton's “Hug Culture”.  Academically we excel and rank among the best.  The campus is beautiful and social life is pretty good.  Hampton allows students to be themselves.  Students have an opportunity to express themselves in many ways and obtain a value-added experience.  Students are exposed to various scholastic activities as well as social functions.  Hampton University has one of the top athletic programs in the state of Virginia as well as the MEAC Conference.

On another note, Hampton has it's down sides such as the registration process and financial aid.  However, in my three years at Hampton I have noticed a significant change as the new administrators in those areas are working diligently to make the processes more efficient and effective.
