JMU is a good school, not a great school. You won't find here the academic elite. You'll take a look at some of the kids in your class and think That being said, the faculty are amazing here. They are open, friendly, and easily approached. I am transferring to William and Mary because of the academics, but, if you want a good undergraduate experience, JMU is not too bad of a place to go. You can make it great if your want to.
