Liberty University is a good college for anyone willing to pursue a career as a pastor. My major is Biology and Liberty is not some scientific college. I urge everyone to visit college campuses before applying. This is something I failed to do. My fellow classmates/friends and others are very friendly and social. I just do not like the university itself. It just does not prepare me for my future career as an entomologist. Going to mandatory convocations on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays can be a pain in the neck. You just get tired of going. I recommend this university to anyone willing to run their own church. But other than that you must look into other universities. Because that is exactly what I am going to do very shortly after posting this comment. By the way it is not complicated to get into Liberty University at all. I believe the only thing you have to do is graduate from high school and come up with the money. Feel free to email me with your questions. I am being up front with my opinions.

Should I even consider applying to Liberty if I plan on going to Medical School to be a doctor? I am reading so many negative responses. They make it seem like such a great college over the phone, but from what I am reading, it doesn't seem like the right place for me. Am I thinking right?

As a High School student it is about time to decide which college to go to. I come from a fairly large city where everything is open past 9 and when I went to Virginia it seemed to close down before then! Though, I am not a partier so I could care less. I am worried about the education possibilities. I want to further my education in Nursing and have the oppurtunity to possibly continue to Medical School. As a (former) student, do you think that my oppurtunities will be vast?
