First, I'll start by saying I've met some great friends here. And I've had a good time. But looking back, I see that Liberty is lacking certain qualities that make college, well, college. Faculty, staff, and students are pretty friendly for the most part. I find the RA's to be very hypocritical though. Some give out reps like it's their lifes purpose. But have they ever given themselves reps? I seriously doubt that. Anyways, the dress code isn't that bad. Khakis and a polo shirt isn't horrible. The college is slowly becoming more lax in their rules. One thing that bothers me about Liberty is that it doesn't feel like college. There isn't an on campus place for students to hang out (the "Student Center" has been promised every year…and every year we don't get it"). There isn't much school spirit. Also, they're charging the students in the new campus apartments $500 a semester for a fitness facility that hasn't been built yet. That is verrrrry dishonest. Not something a Christian school should do. The food is horrible. They should change how they run the cafeteria, foodservices.
