Major: Economics (This Major's Salary over time)
Longwood was not my first choice in deciding which school to go to. I can safely say I wasted thousands of dollars and a majority of my time at this school. With the approximately 85% Greek Life majority, it is easy to feel excluded if one is trying to persue an academic career instead of striving to meet a social agenda. Because of the lack of entertainment at Longwood, school officials deem it necessary to create conflicts, which result in the notorious Judicial and Honor board trials. It seems highly unlikely for any student to complete their four of five years at longwood without receiving a disciplinary strike, which after three, results in dismissal. Also, because the University was built in 1839, the surrounding buildings are outdated and in great need of repair and so the entire campus is under ongoing construction, which makes it an inconveinence for students. If you are looking for an exceptional university with a wonderful learning experience as well as a safe atmosphere that fosters self growth and lifetime friendships, I suggest you search elsewhere.
