Hey my name is Adana and I'm from California. I'm going to be majoring in mechanical engineering and was planning on joining a sorority. Are all the sorority girls snooty? Because I'm not sure I'd be down to spend my days with shallow superficial girls. I'm afraid that I won't be able to adapt to the Southern feel. Was it hard to adjust? How was the weather and society change? Just your whole adaptation process. One of my biggest fears is that I'll get overwhelmed by the culture of weather or something, I don't know. It's probably all in my head but I would love to hear your input |
Major: Mechanical Engineering (This Major's Salary over time)
Mah eggsperints at VT has bin gr8t. I reely Njoy the drinkin an th foot-ball!! An Mah spelin has reely mprooved. Go Hokees!!! Now let's get serious. I was only pretending that I was "Not too bright", could you tell? Actually VT is one of the best schools I have ever visited or attended. I have never seen a place where the students seem so genuinely happy to be. Even though it is an engineering school, I was suprised to find there are loads of cutie beauty coed students, many of whom are sincerely nice. (I am originally from California) The sorority girls can be snooty though, just like Cal. The academics are rigorous, but the teachers are surprisingly supportive for such a big school. If you need help you can usually find it and the staff are empathetic to your struggles. Lots of hiking and activities if you want to get involved. The Alumni are absolutely nuts and loyal about their alma mater and give big money and often pitch in personally on university projects.
