What does a greek system mean? you all write about it, but I don't quite get it. Is this a club? |
Greek System = Presence of Fraternities and Sororities |
Major: Undecided (This Major's Salary over time)
Washington and Lee is a top-notch academic school - as tough or tougher than many of the Ivies. The professors are excellent and are much more concerned with teaching than research. They challenge you because they truly want to see you succeed. W&L posseses a spirited social life (perhaps the only pure Greek System remaining in the country), but, if you're not into partying, you might find yourself struggling to find things to do on the weekends. The campus is simply gorgeous. Lexington is a charming town. Make sure you know what you're getting into before deciding to attend. The school is definitely not for everyone. As far as life outside of academics go, we're much more similar to the likes of Duke and Vanderbilt and than the Amherst and Williams.
