I am going to be completely honest with you. This may come as a shock and many of you will not believe me. Middlebury College is a nice, cozy, relatively unknown, secluded and somewhat prestigious college in Vermont where wealthy parents send their socially maladroit and/or mentally ill children. This is not Dartmouth or Williams, Middlebury is truly a posh asylum. When you visit this school, don't take the tour. You should pretend to be just another student, and really immerse yourself in the environment. It will hit you like a ton of bricks that you are surrounded by genuinely unhinged people. You can go ahead and laugh but I'm just being straight with you.
