Coming from a non-rich small farming background I found the campus to be completely different than myself.  I had multiple students attack me on my views about conventional farming.  Every day I spent at Beloit I felt like the students and sometimes even one of my professors were attacking me, because I do support conventinal farming.  I thought I was liberal when I came to the college, but was labeled a conservative when I got there.  There is hardly a club which isn't involved in activism or supporting things that would seem unconventional elsewhere.  The college presents itself as being diverse; however, by diverse they mean that most of their students are different than students at other colleges but are all the same at Beloit.  I also got tired of seeing the word “cunt” and “queer” written on signs and sidewalks all across campus.  Only go to this school if you consider yourself a Liberal (with a capital “L”) or you support “womyns” movements or support protesting of anything conservative.
