The University of Charleston in my opinion is a HUGE rip off. I transferred here from Marshall University and have been unhappy ever since. I plan on transferring again after this semester. You do not get our money worth at this school by far. Facilities are very poor, food is terrible, education is mediocre and if you are interested in playing a sport, the coaching staff is poor as well.This school is pretty much a prep school for college. It has a very high school feel to it. The biggest reason I would avoid going here is because it is a waste of money for what you get.One thing nice about the school is that most of the professors are nice. Avoid this school.The seniors here are only here because they feel they are stuck here, at least the senior athletes anyway There are plenty of other schools that you would love instead of this one.
