The
classes are boring and assign a large amount of unnecessary
busy work. The teachers are nice, but there's practically
no time available to get to know them. There
is no time for extracurriculars like music or theater unless
you want to sacrifice being able to regularly get a
normal amount of sleep. Do not come here if
you have any interests aside from engineering, math, or science
that you would like to pursue.
As a graduate, I know for a fact that the first year is quite rough, but as someone who did both music and theater and sports while at Mudd and graduated with honors and friends with many of the teachers... give it time :)
