Hi There, sorry here's my response. I completely agree with you. They promised us a job placement after graduation. My parents shelled out a crap load of Student loan debt. I got an AA in Fashion Design and an AA in Apparel Industry Management. Guess where I am today? I am selling cars now! My Dad is considering on suing FIDM for ripping us off, and considering on exposing them to the LA times let's get together and take them down. I want my money back or to at lease pay the government back |
May I also add, the quality of the classes as well was definitely not worth the time or the money. And no actual General Study programs like Math. I'm going back to school to get my business degree and I had to side step to a community college because the math class I took was a "Pass or Fail" hate this school |
Major: Communications (This Major's Salary over time)
FIDM had nothing to offer ME. They technically don't teach anything. Ask me what I learned…nothing. For the tuition cost and the classes offered, I don't think I got what I paid for. I graduated in 2005 with a AA in Visual Communications…now someone please explain to me…what the heck is Visual? I still don't know how to explain it…hahahaIf I could go back in time I would have slapped myself from thinking you could actually get a high paying career straight out of FIDM…I would have gone to a CSU school any day now given the chance…I want to rally up a crowd of Anti-FIDMers to help those poor stupid rich girls from enrolling…we all know that you need no talent to get into FIDM…come on people. Spread the word…
