I like Loyola Marymount. A gorgeous campus in an ideal location of Los Angeles. Small, intimate programs with teachers you get to know. A safe, comfortable environment in a busy, bustling city. Sometimes the social life and extracircular opportunities get me down, but then I remember L.A. is right outside my door. After going to the beach, Disneyland, Hollywood, a Dodgers game, a USC game or one of the numerous other activities going on in the second biggest city in the U.S., I then remember it's okay that most of the people on campus are homogenous and afraid to do anything other than drink. I just head over to Westwood and hang out with UCLA students that are a lot more fun. Oh, and I'm from out of state.
