LMU has the potential to be such a better university than it is. It has potentially the most beautiful location for a college, it's in the heart of Los Angeles, so there are numerous opportunities for anything, the buildings are new and look great, etc. However, you get a student body that is there to get their degree and not really learn anything in the process. It's pretty sad. All they care about is being popular and how much they could drink during the weekend. There doesn't seem to be many there to actually enjoy their education and challenge themselves to learn new things. Overall, if you want to attend a school in Los Angeles, check out UCLA, USC or Pepperdine first.
