The following statement only applys to the recording department.

When you first visit Full Sail for the behind the seeens tour you will be introduced to your admissions representative (Or your Full Salesmen) He or she will promise that that full sail has a great placement rate, and that employers look for full sail graduates. The fact of the matter is that Full Sail considers just about any job that they can get you worthy of their placement statistics. If you dig deep enough you will find that working at Guitar Center for 8 dollars an hour will qualify, as well as recording studio janitor, and unpaid internships. No offense to the guitar center employees but you don't need a $40,000 degree and the ability to run a $400,000 console to work their, and unpaid internships don't payoff student loans.

The recording business is already overcrowded as it is and Full Sail graduates about 300 to 500 students a month in the recording department alone.

Full Sail also encourages students to stay for their entertainment bachelors and masters degree for another 2 years off of the gear that is constantly being upgraded and changed. By the time you graduate you will be 2 years behind on the technology used to produce music.

Since the year 2000 over 140,000 jobs in the music industry have been lost due to layoffs and Full Sail continues to shovel graduates into an industry that does not have room for them. It took me 2 years of working for free to get myself to the point of being a freelance recording engineer and I still make less than $15,000 a year doing it and I'm a good engineer.

If you are considering a career as a recording engineer. Sure to consider all the variables, and be sure not to go to Full Sail.

commentI think sports training ought to be given to each understudy also. This is on the grounds that college-paper org reviews do think about games and can improve their wellbeing by playing their preferred game also.
