Major: Business - Management and Administration (This Major's Salary over time)
To give you my background, I attended Full Sail University after attending community college. Originally, I picked to attend for it?s outstanding Recording Arts program. Since then, I have completed Bachelors in Entertainment Business and I am about to graduate from the Masters of Science in Internet Marketing.

I have seen the school go through a lot of changes since I first started going there. When I first attended, they did not have a master?s degree program and they did not have online courses. The school has really come a long way. When I attended on campus classes, I felt like I ?fit in?. The school was exactly what I was looking for, which was an institution that gave me all the tools, knowledge and resources needed to peruse my dreams. At the time, I was really into the music industry and the school was know for its successes with its graduates, industry specialists, and cutting edge equipment.

After completing my Associates Degree, I worked in the music industry promoting events and making music, sound effects, and dialogue for video games.

During that time, I began to work towards my Bachelor Degree in Entertainment Business; it was pretty much business, like I had previously learned at Montgomery College, but it focused on the intellectual properties and laws of the entertainment industry. This time around the classes were geared from books and presentations, unlike the practical application that was used in Recording Arts. The classrooms, buildings, and environment were very clean, innovative and creative.

After completing my Bachelor?s degree I moved back to the Washington Metropolitan area and worked as the Director of Marketing for a multimillion-dollar entertainment company that specializes in corporate and social events. The one drawback from Full Sail University has been the placement department. I say that because I have taken the initiative to find every job. Everything with regards to the education, and what the school has done for me was excellent, but the placement department could provide better leads.

After the economic downturn, the entertainment industry was not the place to be. That?s when I decided to return to retail management, and I did it primarily for the security. I had vast amounts management and supervisory experience from before college, and it seemed to be a good choice at the time.

Now, I work for a $20 Billion dollar company as a manager. Even though I am not in the entertainment industry, I am content with my employer, but I believe that this is a great time to further ones education and saw that the option would be feasible with online degrees.

I picked to get a Master?s of Science in Internet Marketing since I have acquired many website marketing and other marketing skills from my marketing positions. Currently, I am about to finish in two month and have really enjoyed the programs and the knowledge that I have acquired. I see this as an industry that will be thriving in the future and hope that my degree helps. I feel confidant that I can lead marketing projects and that I have a leading edge on other marketers with my degree. Full Sail has done a great job of teaching the subjects, tools, and where to find the resources. The only drawback to online marketing is the isolation, if you do not work, and the lack of local networking. Besides that for someone who works, it?s ideal.

I loved Full Sail University and would return. It?s great that as alumni you can retake any classes for free. The school has evolved with my career and it remains to be one of the best regionally accredited schools in my eyes.
