Major: Nursing (This Major's Salary over time)
The nursing program (ADN) should be avoided. Frankly, the program is very disorganized and many students with 3.5-4.0 GPAs are struggling to pass the nursing courses. I made "A"s in Anatomy, Micro and Psych but will struggle to make a "C" this semester. Prospective students would be wise to STAY AWAY FROM SPC. It seems to make more sense to attend PTECH, earn your LPN and then work and transition to RN. With SPC if you fail at any point you'll have nothing! You are not permitted to sit for the LPN board exam at any point in the SPC program. Think about it; I'm an "A" student 3.8gpa and I'm having a very difficult time here. Additionally the SPC passing rate for NCLEX is pretty low (83%) and that's not good. USF and Galen are much higher at about 90%.
