STAY AWAY from the Career Center. That group is the most sadistic group of people I've ever met. They are condescending, mean, and stupid. No one should take their advice. Ever. Do yourself a favor. You will save money, time, and sanity by not using those idiots to help with your graduate school planning.Get private counseling if you need help. They don't like students and they don't care if you get a hit by a bus on the way out of their office.
