A little background… I attended the University of West Georgia for two years until I tore my knee up playing football and had to have it rebuilt. I subsequently dropped out to have the surgery and take the long road to recovery. Couple in the fact that I was more interested in leisurely activities than studying. Still, I held a 3.7 GPA at the UofWG. I thought that my goal of obtaining a BA had passed me by until I heard about CSU. I did my research on this school as well as other online universities as being a husband, father, an employed full-time just does not allow one to attend a "brick-&-mortar" school very easily. After all of my research and weighing the pros and cons, I decided that CSU offered the best value. I expected the course work to be easier than it has been. The reading of chapters is absolutely necessary to answer the questions and write the essays/papers. Citing you references is required and the discussion questions require you to actually have thoughtful input. Not just a yes or no response. I can say without a doubt that I have learned quite a bit in my studies and that it does indeed apply to the work that I perform. I actually use some of the textbooks as reference at work because they contain quite a bit of useful information.CSU is allowing me to achieve my goal of finishing my bachelor's degree. I wish my Grandmother had lived long enough to see me graduate as it was her wish that I do so (and she often reminded me). Through her inspiration and CSU's outstanding program, I will achieve my goal in 2010. Even if I never receive a promotion or whatnot from earning my BA, I can cross that goal off of my "bucket list."If you are looking for an exceptional value that fits your schedule… then CSU is the best choice out there. It won't cost you an arm and a leg and you will be CHALLENGED!Best of luck and may you find the success you are seeking.
