'SC is a fantastic school. Obviously any college experience is what you make of it but here you are supplied with pretty much everything you need to make it great. Yes there is a bit of a "university of spoiled children" sense among the student body sometimes BUT it is not always the predominating personality and there are just so many students that you are bound to find friends who are right for you. The classes (overall) are challenging and there are so many professors who are truly in love with what they do and want to share that with their students. Like any other school, there are of course a few bum profs but that's inevitable and it's why ratemyprofessor exists. Between football games (you'll be a fan by the end of your freshman season), the row (far enough away from campus to avoid if you wish to), performances and other events (especially those put on by the Visions and Voices program) there is ALWAYS something to do. Most important of all however is the school spirit. It is palpable. You really won't understand it until you experience but everyone has so much fun and takes so much pride in being a Trojan. Of course there are right and wrong schools for everyone but USC is such a positive school overall it's worth a shot for everyone.
