Major: PreMed and Medical (This Major's Salary over time)
I was a health science studies major, and I loved just about every minute of my time at QU! They emphasize joining a bunch of clubs, but if that is not your thing, don't feel pressured to do so. I do recommend getting involved in some way though, through on-campus work, research, community volunteer work, etc. Many people come here ready to meet new people and make new friends, which is great! I met my "group" of close friends freshman year, but I have also made new close friends along the way each semester. The kids in my classes are smart and motivated. Your professors care about you and will bend over backwards to help you succeed. Also, it is easy to add a dual major or a minor if you are interested. The only major downsides: the entire ResLife department is a joke, as they have major problems with lack of communication and dishonest actions. Also, the hss major is not structured well in a school where the PA, PT, AT, etc programs thrive. If you are looking to do general health science for your undergrad major, you have to put in all of the work to find internship opportunities, because the department is unfortunately very unhelpful with this. The health science coursework is excellent, but advising and outside opportunities are poor.
