Major: Communications (This Major's Salary over time)
Finishing my junior year, I can say that I'm pretty happy with my choice of JSU. I think overall, you are treated pretty well here. Lots of stuff to do on campus if you get involved. If you don't you will be miserable since the town is a dump with nothing to offer. The residents treat most students like we're an inconvenience. But there is nothing here but the school. Crime in the surrounding area is high, so be careful. The people make this school great, since it can't compete with the large Universities- there just isn't a budget for that. But tuition and fees, while it seems fairly reasonable, it's pretty much what you would pay at Alabama or Auburn. Communications is kind of a joke. Outdated radio and TV equipment. they really need upgraded equipment. I just did my internship in Huntsville, and coming back to the studios on campus was depressing. Just some things to consider.
