I am a second year Law Enforcement student. During my time at RCTC, I found my Law Enforcement instructors to be very friendly and helpful. They always find a way to keep your attention, despite how dull some of the material can be. The instructors are willing to go out of their way to help. I would highly recommend this school to those who would like to pursue a career in Criminal Justice or Law Enforcement. However, I cannot say the same for the general education teachers. In all but one general course teachers were condescending, self absorbed, and unhelpful. I would be directed to the learning center with any questions where I had to sit and wait 15 minutes per question to be helped (sometimes longer). The facility is nice. Those who work in the financial aid offices are very helpful and polite. Expect to be treated poorly by those in records in registration. Numerous times I've been ignored and when I finally got their attention they were very rude and impatient.
