As a first year student, I an in my Foundation year.  It is very challenging, but I have benefited so much, even though it is the first semester.

I do notice the lack of commitment of other students, and it is such a shame.  Most of the students here received a pretty hefty scholarship (including myself).  There are also a lot of complaints on the quality of education provided, and the amount of work given..here is my response to this...

Suck it up.  If you really want to be an artist, you have to work for it.  And i really mean work for it.  I chose this career path because it is something i am willing to work for, because I am interested in thinking conceptually and critically.  There is a high drop out rate after freshman year because people do not earn their grades.  Dont blame the school, you can only blame yourself.

This school is wonderful and has given me beyond the education i expected.  The Faculty is great, the surrounding area has alot to do when free time is available.  I love it at KCAI.
