I am freshman here, and I hate it. I plan on leaving for GWU next semester. Even though AU is on embassy row, the university doesn't fully utilize the offerings of the city, and the academics are subpar. Pretty much the ONLY thing driving people to pay 40000 a year is the location in DC. Everyone here parties too much, and is not very interested in their studies. I have had very few intelligent political discussions here without going into a screaming match, and the students are very closed-minded.

They know nothing about the real world.
