I had an alright experience here. I'm glad I chose to study engineering because of the analytical thinking and problem solving skill it brought. There definitely has to be improvements made inside the faculty. Faculty needs to be more caring and helpful to support learning the subjects because it makes it a great deal harder when they are unorganized and not supportive about the coursework, which is already novel and difficult as it is. There is a great lack of communication between the faculty and the students, which I think might be because most of the faculty is really old or self-absorbed and do not try to reach the students in the right way which creates the uncaring environment. I think that some of this miscommunication arises from the professors' lack of language or his/her main focus for his/her research.

However there are some great professors that really do support students and try to fix these problems inside the faculty. I've seen some great improvements and changes myself while I was at the university. They also give good advices and point you in the right direction so that you get the best out of your education. Also the students are really helpful amongst each other in a way that they help you to get through the obstacles along the way. So I think it is a great opportunity to apply to this school now because I think it is going to get a great deal harder to get into when these changes are complete because more people will want to apply which will make it harder to get accepted to GW.
