I remember when I first got rejected from this school back in 2010, I was like **** this school they're nothing. I continued to work on my credits at a community college, got into parties, never focused on my grades, I kept switching majors. Finally again I re-applied with 60 transfer credits and I got in. The weird thing was my outlook in life changed. I wasn't as arrogant and egocentric. I learned so much from the experience of struggling, that when I reapplied I realized it's how you make it, that makes you a success. I changed my environment. Orientation was awesome, people were friendly, helpful. The campus has changed alot, there is a new stadium, new buildings, the place just keeps growing and growing. The faculty is super friendly and down to earth. I remember during advising there was another girl there who bragged how she got straight A's and how the FAU administration was shit, right in front of the academic advisor. It was then I double realized how happy I was to be accepted into FAU because when I looked at that girl who cared only about a name and grades, she didn't understand it was the experience and positivism that makes or breaks you.

FAU is minutes from the beach, excellent student life, a family like atmosphere and lots of positive sunlight and excellent learning environment. I am truly grateful to be a part of this growing institution.
