I completely agree!!! |
I don't. FIU sucks. |
FIU is patheticccccc!!!!!!!!!! You must be hispanic and just saying you're not! |
I came here from Ireland and I can say that you simply do not see your advantages. Curricula are similar everywhere. However, the social role is of great importance. I will never forget how they showed me a new way to make money for a student - https://1xbet.ie/en I am very pleased that I was able to provide for myself during my student years using the simplest solutions. |
Major: Psychology (This Major's Salary over time)
I read several of the previous reviews and i have to disagree with many of the statements. FIU is a great university. It does have a budget problem and yes they should be putting into other things. However i have to say thati have lived on cmpus for 3 years and i dont feel that you need to walk around with pepper spray in your pocket. there has been several times I have made my way around campus alone and made it back without a single person wishper a word to me. I feel like if you are planning on going to this University you should know what to expect. FIU is in Miami and Miami over all is mostly populated by Hispanics! people like to say that Miami itself is like its own little country…they dont say that for no reason. you are going to go places were the majority of people speak spanish however they speak english also. it is true the parking is very bad here esp. when the fair is in town and the faulty could use some workshops on how to be organized and more approchable to students. however its not the worse place ever been…far from it. and you will have a social life if you put in the effort. your only going to be as active as you allow youself to be because their are over 100 clubs and several sororities and frats you can join. i'm a psychology major and i work at a psy. lab which in my opinion was one of the smartest decisions i've made thus far. allthe grad students i work with are more then wiling to help me in any given situation i am in and i have learn a lot about me career path and what i can do with my degree. and i disagree..most people (hispanics) are not stuckup and rude. fyi i am not spanish
