The University offers all the resources you need IF you know from the get go exactly what your looking for. However, if your undecided it can be a bit difficult, but all the opportunities are there. In the past 3 years, the school of International and Public Affairs has improved exponentially. A lot of new programs and certificates available to enhance your degree are more easily accessible now than they used to be. My recommendation to any incoming student would be, to ask a professor or classmate to put them in touch with senior or juniors currently attending FIU, that are studying the same subjects you are , because you will be able to learn from their mistakes and triumphs. Personally, attending FIU was the best decision I could have made, becuase I have been taking AP courses since I was 14 and college (dual enrollement) courses since I was 16 and it wasn't until I was 20 that I finally found what I wanted to do. FIU allowed me to explore around 5 years worth of classes in 3 years, I'll be graduating this summer and I have spent 0$ on my education. :) Good luck!!!!!!!!!
