You attend a MIAMI school and expect there to be no hispanics? REALLY? Maybe you're not too bright to begin with. I am Cuban and yes I speak spanish, but whether you go to UM or Barry… WE ALL SPEAK SPANISH. Stop being so prejudice and ignorant. I love FIU, great campus, great teachers, great atmosphere. The bigoted people who complained about the hispanic ambiance… we detect prejudice, that's why you made no friends. But by all means, Leave, transfer and let us enjoy quality education you were wasting. And remember, unless you speak Navajo or any other tribal dialect, you're not speaking the NATIVE AMERICAN LANGUAGE. Great school, don't regret going. :)

LOL! You, the individual who wrote this post is the ignorant one! Yes, us non-latinos are sick and tired of catering to you people who expect everything on a silver platter. You call FIU quality education? But then of course you would. The university that passes students when they can barely speak the english language. And no this isn't a hate/racist comment. You see, when english speaking Americans have to dumbify OUR education for immigrants, it brings down the "quality" of education. But then again, that's something that you IGNORANT people couldn't possibly understand! You tell us to leave! We are happy to leave FIU to get a better education elsewhere. Go ahead and stay at FIU and receive 3rd world education. But know this, you spanish ignorant immigrants will never make it big in life or amount to anything. Why you ask? Among Hispanics there are a lot of educated and uneducated people, but to be really candid I do not think the problem of FIU are Latinos. I think the ones to blame are the administrative staff including some professors who are inflexible and mediocre.
