PCC is not accredited, not even by any Christian accreditation that is recognized. Go ahead and check with any graduate school program now before going to PCC. If you want to followup your undergraduate immediately with a graduate degree such as an MBA, you'll find that the majority, if not all, of the top colleges now require accreditation. Those colleges just do not have the time or resources to validate non-accredited institutions, and I can't say that I blame them. Even years later with much working experience, backing from a large corporation, I still had MUCH difficulty getting into a grad school. I have a four year degree from PPC in computer science, and in Accounting. Had to go to another school 10 years later and retake undergraduate courses to be accepted into Grad school. I now have an undergrad & grad from Rutgers. Head of PCC wrote letters on my behalf to no avail. I admit the folks at PCC were very nice to me and tried very much to help. But the person at Rutgers admissions made the comment that they had never heard of the school, much less Vice President so-n-so. So much to my disappointment, PCC is viewed the same as the non accredited

Business majors think about that when you place PCC on your resume.

Also don't be led into the trap of saying you'll only go to PCC for one year and transfer. You'll find you have probably wasted a year of credits.

As far as rules… Rules are rules. There are many, go elsewhere if you don't like rules. Don't go because your mommy is making you attend. I graduated 14 years ago and still to this day when I get together with alumni, the big topic always ends up with how PCC robbed them of the maturation process all young people need to facilitate function in a real world.

Here is something we discussed recently from a business major perspective: Name someone from PCC that is recognized in the world for something? Discovering something? Starting a revival movement? Starting a company that now is the largest and most successful? Recognized artist? Or even any large companies with PCC on the top of their list for graduates?

You would think if the PCC education is that great that you would have heard of someone from there by now, right? Even if I can’t think of any business folks, I can at least name a few spiritual leaders from places like Bob Jones and Liberty.

I guess my point is that PCC should not be attractive to you just because of the cheap price, location, or ‘thank God I don’t have to worry about parties next door.’ Hate to tell you, but that is real life. If the Lord sent you there, then go. Just make sure it is not pressure from the parents and their will for your life. You are not going to hell if you consider a non Christian college. It may be your biggest mission field.
