Date: Jan 26 2008 Major: Education (This Major's Salary over time) I went to PCC when I was 23. I loved PCC my first year. I thought it was the greatest college ever! Little did I know that I was in for a fatal case of legalism. Though many of the views and beliefs at PCC were my beliefs, I felt that some of the beliefs I held were in violation of PCC. I felt that I was in prison for four years and wearing (what is perceived as sin in PCC's eyes ) jeans or shorts was unbiblical. PCC had to know exactly where I was every minute. I felt that every move I made would get me expelled. I could go on and on about this, but you would probably stop reading. The bottom line is when I graduated, I promised myself I would never step into another church again. It has taken me four years to get over that experience. On a positive note, the education you will receive is outstanding! I went for education and the teachers were incredible and very knowledgeable. If you can handle four years out of your life and fill it with rigidness, legalism, and feeling insecure as a Christian but get a solid education, do it. If you cannot, you can still attend many Christian universities that are Bible-believing and less rigid.
