Major: Criminal (This Major's Salary over time)
I have been at PCC for two years now. The curriculum has been both challenging and applicable. A few of the 100 level classes are taught by students in the graduate program; I see this as a negative thing. I am paying to be taught by professionals, not used as a guinea pig for someone trying to achieve their graduate degree. Luckily, this doesn't happen in any of the upper level classes or any class that pertains to your major. Overall, the education I am receiving from PCC is top notch. Most of the teachers are available if I need help or have any questions. And for all of those who are worried about accreditation, don't. The school is currently in the process of becoming accredited and will be by the end of next year.As for life on campus. The facilities are always clean but some of the dorms could use some work. They aren't falling apart but they are a little…old. And yes, there are rules. If you can not handle rules than get ready; life is going to be pretty difficult for you. Yes, some of them don't make sense, but the goal of the faculty is not to hinder us. Their goal is to strengthen our walk with Christ. This is the most important thing.I would definitely recommend PCC to anyone who is looking for a Christian environment to receive further education. Again, PCC is working on accreditation, so this should not deter anyone considering PCC. Yes, there are rules, but they are bearable. You will gain life long friends. And if you have a positive attitude, you will grow in Christ.
