Heres a piece if advice. I did not get into the nursing school of my choice so I went to CSCC to take pre reqs and re apply or find another. Let me tell you dont waste your time for the nursing program here. Im iffy on the teachers. Some are amazing I will never forget and well thers are rude and never reply to a single email. Im not sure why people are complaining about financial aid. If they do everything right the first time and on time then there will be no problems or long lines or long holding phone times. I never had a problem but I did have a problem for registering with classes. It wouldnt let me since I had transfer credits from highschool. I honestly have waited for well over an hour once..and by the time I spoke to someone the course was all filled. Its pathetic. Im so afraid to use the bathrooms here I have to check to make sure no one is in there first because they are so isolated and scary. The parking sucks. I wasted so much gas and people fight and steal parking spots. And speaking about the people they are so rude. Whether is being cussed at for no reason, getting smoke blown in your face because literally everyone smokes there and its annoying. They stand right in front of the doors too so theres no way to avoid them. The majority of people who go there have no manners. The men are disrespectful to the women..if you look decent beware you will be hit on and its so annoying. Im go glad I got into nursing school and no longer attend there. Its ghetto. The computers are always taken and people are on facebook or games chatting when someone really needs to print something off and if you go to the lab the printing wait is like half an hour. Im not sure what kind of people raised the students that go here because last I remember growing up in school we were all told not to behave this way. I went here earlier today to sell some old books. I seriously got cussed out twice, got it on, and it took me 15 minutes to find parking oh and some lady cussed me out because she wanted the parking spot I had been waiting for before her. It brought back so many bad memories so I decided to write this. I hate this school. Im not going to lie I have learned a lot for some of the few great teachers I had but I hate the place and its people. Not my type of school. Its filled with loud, rude people and I always have a bad day when I go there. Why should I get harassed and abused when I just want an education? Pathetic.
