Going to Stetson University was the best experience I could have had to prepare me for Graduate School and the real world. Possibly not in the way most students would necessarily expect though. While the caliber of work always offered the potential of exploring challenging concepts and technical difficulty- Stetson's professors will not beg you to take up the challenge. Many of the professors will express either their satisfaction or dissatisfaction with your work, but then go on grading you according to what you give them. You can however, by your own accord, take up the challenges inherent in the work provided and find your professors willing to foster, encourage, and further your progress. Or, you can be disconnected from the process and have similar responses from you professors. It's up to you. So, is campus life. Stetson has it's share of unpleasant personalities and stereotyped groups absolutely willing to live up to the stereotypes. But, if you find some place that doesn't let us know where so we can flock to it. Still get involved… it's worth it and will make campus and academic life all the more enjoyable.
