UCF is a PARTY SCHOOL. Yes, a party school. Most of the "students" here at UCF care more about weekend parties than schoolwork. In my Intro Journalism class, in which there were 77 students, over half of the class failed, while some barely passed, and only a few passed with a decent grade. It's no wonder that UCF is considered to be the most lowly-regarded state university in Florida. Kids that get rejected by every other state school, most notably FSU, UF, and USF, come here. Most of the kids here at UCF are idiots, to put it simple, and are only here because they got rejected by the other schools. I'm planning on transferring to Florida International (FIU) in Miami for Fall 2003. It may not be in a "desirable location" so to speak, but at least it is a school that is known for a decent education instead of a party school reputation. Bottom line is, if you want to learn and be challenged so that you are well prepared for your desired career, don't come to UCF. Go to FIU, FSU, or UF instead - REAL colleges.
