Disgregard the people stating UCF as a party school. Go to UF or FSU if you really want a party school. The campus is very nice and the surrounding area is nice and pretty easy to get around. The variety of areas is also nice. The financial aid is not that great. UCF is going through some growing pains, so be warned. I think UCF as a whole is good, gives you chances for social events. Not that much sports oriented, but the knights are improving. Better on not treating you not as a number as some schools are. The job placement and co-op/internship is not good, so one piece of advice do whatever you can to get some experience before graduating!! look in newspapers online etc. I graduated from the eng tech. program. SAVE YOURSELF!! one of the worst programs I have ever seen. The degree is hardly known of and the teachers are horrible!! More interested in research. no real teaching all open book tests!! I feel as though I did not receive a real education. MY advice: get your associates at the nearby community college VCC (very good school) and transfer. math classes were good at UCF, but be warned physics and chem are notorious. When other people say school is what you make of it, they are on target. You have to be disciplined, but you should have fun and get involved in your school. Wherever you choose to go.. Good Luck!
