Major: Undecided (This Major's Salary over time)
I took a Math 95 class at Portland Community College where lectures and exams were on campus, but the tests and homework was done online. There was a practice exam that was to be taken before the final and this practice test could also provide extra credit. The night before the final, the professor ended the availability for the practice test at midnight. I emailed her asking to extend the availability but she did not email me back until after the final. The professor said she would extend the availability until later that day. I emailed her back asking why she ended the availability hours before the exam and she ignored my email. I had to take it to the chairman of the math department and the chairman told me that the professor's regulations were in line and that I would not be able to retake the final. I have had witnessed other professors neglect the guidelines in their syllabi and have only come to admit it and adjust to their own regulations when their students had brought it to their attention. This entire school system is unprofessional and incompetent.
