When i first arrived at Emory, I was awe-struck by the experience. The first couple of weeks were exciting and I really felt like I was growing up. Then, Emory starts to become Emory. It's mostly dominated by the frat scenes, lots of New Yorkers, and little access to the city without a car (which u can get passes for by bribing upperclassmen). I didnt really connect with anyone freshman yr, and sophomore yr just seemed to be more of the same bland-ness that I had come to know. Emory has excellent classes, and amazing architecture, but it isnt a fun school. It doesnt quite suck the soul out of you like a Cornell or U of Chicago would, but it sure isnt what the movies make it out to be.
