Major: Nursing (This Major's Salary over time)
I am acedemically exceptional, without a doubt. However, being from up north i found that this college was a bad choice for me. The women, and believe me there are no men, instructors in this nursing program are all very southern. What I mean by that is they speak with broken english. They don't pronounce words correctly, or use the correct words to describe what they are trying to teach. Even the actual nursing terminology is often destroyed by these instructors. And, here is the real point I'd like to make. THEY DON'T CARE OR SEE A PROBLEM WITH IT. It was absolute torture trying to make sense of their lectures. I transfered in with academic honors and graduated as a "C" student. My advice, is that you not attend this college if you value intelligent instructors who can articulate and impart nursing knowledge. And, this school is only a two year degree that will consume your life, force you to quit your job, and make you absolutely miserble. You will find that you will, more often than not, need to teach yourself nursing because the instructors don't understand what they are talking about and become angry if you question them or have more knowledge than they do. And, the complaint process iS totally corrupt. If you bring a complaint against any of the faculty or staff they will all lie for eachother and turn on you. I know male students that have had to hire attorneys to get these women to leave them alone. It's really a very bad college that should be shut down. I ADVISE…STAY AWAY FROM THIS COLLEGE!
