Date: Nov 04 2010 Major: Nursing (This Major's Salary over time) I am paying off over $90,000 to this school. I went all the way through the ASN program at Aquinas College and missed passing a course by about 2 points. There are 26 ASN programs in the state of Tennessee, and Aquinas College is the only one that requires you to pass at a higher percentile (86%). I know, because I researched this extensively. I called the Tennessee State Board of Nursing for help, and they said that since Aquinas is a private school, they can set their own standards. Well, they may have that legal right, but this policy is immoral…especially as my husband, who worked two jobs to put me through school, and I kept a part-time job. Now, we're about to declare bankruptcy because we can't afford to keep paying for these loans. Thanks for nothing, Aquinas College. I will make it my mission to cost you as many students as I can…so that you LOSE reputation and money…just as I did!
