Housing is way too expensive. You should not leave money out in your room because housing does room checks when your not there, my things have been stolen and im not the only one. The dorms are nice but not worth it. Also dorms are extremely strict so dont expect to have much fun in them. The leases are year round, which is really just them being greedy and stupid. This school gets a lot of hype because it is growing. Maybe in years itll get bigger and better but for now its just overpriced bologna. I honestly hate it, counting the weeks till this semester ends. Classes are okay, most teachers seem nice. Nice doesnt make them effective or helpful. The campus is often very dead. Some social events are created but its a commuter/suitcase school. The school is getting a football team in 2015, but for now womens soccer and basketball are our sports. Also no greek houses. Basically im just here to warn prospective students. If you have no knowledge of what a university is, and what a college experience should be you may like this scchool.If your expecting a fun experience and a degree that means something stay clear of KSU. If your an older person seeking online degree try gpc or devry. If I had a car I'd move back home this very second. Its misery. If you must come here, come with friends from high school and live off campus. Really just avoid coming here go to if your GPA is to low for GA Tech or UGA, go to West GA, GA Southern, or GSU. DO NOT COME HERE UNLESS YOU ABSOLUTELY HAVE NO OTHER OPTIONS OR ENJOY QUIET DEPRESSION, GETTING RIPPED OFF, LOW QUALITY EDUCATION. Parents make sure your child does extensive research before moving on campus or you will be helping them battle depression and trying to figur out how to break leases. For the love of humanity don't come if your an outer state student. You cant get home easily and will likely be here on weekends with other out of state people, everyone else goes home. If you like being alone then this is your school. YOU WILL NOT GET A REAL COLLEGE EXPERIENCE, MORE LIKE LIVING AT YOU HIGHSCHOOL. Also its hard to get classes you need because its more students than classes. If you come expecting nothing you'll be happy to get what little joy you get from this nicely decorated hell hole. I will be transfering so will many other freshmen.
