This school was a letdown in some facets and a great move in others- we are no longer permitted to use the elevators because of doctors occupying the upper levels in the building, and the parking lot was recently declared a disaster area by everyone but the Dean. There's simply no place to park. Supposedly, this will be corrected in the near future. My experience is that the overall student attitude is influenced heavily by program and age. The pharmacy technicians seem to have their stuff together for the most part. By the way, the "library" is approximately 12"x10", and is now "supervised" by someone who really doesn't deserve to be paid to be there. If you liked high school, this is the perfect place for you. The reason why I say it's a good place to go is because the course work is almost a bore. You could sleep through half your classes (as I did) and still ace everything. Another great thing here is the fact that the teachers really DO care about what happens in your life and they will bend over backwards to help you in any way possible. I mean that. Had it not been for the faculty and most of the students, the door on Western would have slammed a long time ago. Trouble is that some of the bad apples here are spoiling the bunch, and the rules change every time there's a faculty meeting. It's frustrating, but I also believe it's worth my time. I'm glad it only takes a year.
